Capture the unique and exuberant Venice carnival atmosphere and experience what the Venetian lagoon has to offer, in a small group of like-minded photography enthusiasts, with all the support or coaching you need to get the best images you dream of.
A 5-day photography workshop with all tuition and coaching included from 2 professional UK photographers.
We will be staying in the heart of Venice and the Carnival near St Mark's square and exploring everything that Venice and the nearby islands have to offer, including the world-famous Venice Carnival.
Our photography opportunities will include well-known Carnival spots as well as quieter parts of the island, architecture, street, landscape photography, day and night sessions, and we will spend time on the colourful island of Burano, as well as the less-visited and scarcely populated Torcello, home of the famous Locanda Cipriani where Ernest Hemingway stayed for a whole season while writing one of his books.
There is an abundance of photographic opportunities including: architecture, street, long exposure, carnival, and much more!
Highlights of locations include:
Venice Island: day time and night time photography including locations such as: The Bridge of Sighs, Pont dell'Academie, Fondamenta Cannaregio, Fondamento Salute, St Mark's Square, Riva degli Schiavoni, Rialto Bridge
Burano: colourful facades, lace and canals
Torcello: off the beaten track
Included in the price of the workshop are:
- accommodation with single occupancy as standard, and breakfast, for 4 nights
- internal transportation in Venice and the lagoon to shoot locations and back
- unlimited group and individual photography tuition and coaching as required
The price for this tour is £2200 pp and we charge no single supplements for solo travellers. This includes all accommodation with breakfast in en-suite rooms, all internal travel, and unlimited on-demand photography coaching from Andreea and Matt throughout the stay.
