Tenerife Landscape and Astro Workshop
Tenerife Landscape and Astro Workshop
Teide National Park is a wonderful, strange landscape. With brightly lit trees, volcanic black earth and strange mists that revolve around the island make for some unique and wonderful views.
Due to the dark skies and very low light pollution in the centre of the island, Teide national park is also a great place for astro photography. Tenerife usually experiences good weather, so clouds become less of an issue for Milky way photography.

What and where
Whilst Tenerife might be best known for sunshine, cheap booze and nightclubs, it is also home to Teide National Park a UNESCO world heritage site. The park features Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano, which is the highest peak on Spanish soil and at 7500m above sea level is the world’s third tallest volcanic structure.

We have teamed up with a local expert to assist us in all aspects of locating and shooting the milky way and star trails.
The astro workshop portion of the trip will be 3 days dedicated to this activity. The rest of our time will be centred around landscape photography during the day.
